Olisa Metuh’s Trial Adjourned till May 17th due to his Ill health

The trial of National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh has been adjourned by the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday till May 17th.
Justice Abang adjourned the case after Metuh’s lawyer, Dr. Onyechi Ikpeazu (SAN) urged the court to do so, saying his client is indisposed.

Speaking to journalists after the proceedings, Metuh said that he decided to defy his physician’s advise to rest a while so that the Court will not decide to revoke his bail.
“I am eager to defend myself in this case. There a lot that people do not know about this case. We will reveal everything in our defence,” he said.
